Collective agreement negotiations were launched for Luxair’s 1,800 employees on Friday afternoon, accompanied by a protest picket of support. The unions are demanding that Luxair re-introduce the full 13 months’ pay for all employees, as well as an additional day of annual leave and the introduction of a work-from-home system. In previous meetings, Luxair is said to have demanded an increase in productivity and more flexibility from staff.
